What gave you your idea to start your business?
The idea to open Breakfast Little came after the success of my first location, Piccolo Pete’s Cafe. The original location came by chance. I am a believer that with one opportunity — and one chance — anything is possible.
What has your experience been opening a business in the Mission?
It has been surprisingly pleasant. I didn’t know what to expect with my new location, but everyone has been welcoming, and I feel like I am a part of the community.
How does your business/business idea relate to your life?
I love making people smile. Our main focus at the cafe is to make sure that people leave happy. Our quality drinks and bites are a result of that.
Why should potential customers invest in small businesses?
Small businesses are the backbone of America — and the heart of each community. When customers invest in small businesses, they are investing in their own community.
Where do you see your business in five years?
Still growing and still learning. I would love for my business to grow, but with that growth including new opportunities to learn. I would love to have multiple locations, and have a well-known brand.
What do you love about the Mission?
The community feel. For example, there is a gentleman that passes by every day and we wave at each other. He has only been a customer at our location once, but we both feel a connection with each other, and regularly chat.
