Visual artwork and performance art is inspired by the writings of Gloria Anzaldua. The exhibit features 50 Nepantlera artists from the U.S. and Mexico and explores the many manifestations of the “Coatlicue State” in Nepantla. “Nepantleras” reclaiming sovereignty embracing life, death and rebirth on their own terms.
